River & Ember was born from grief and love — and from the belief that our inner light is worth tending. My husband was both river and ember: steady, sure, and glowing with encouragement. This work continues what he embodied — helping families nurture connection through story, ritual, art, and legacy.
Our Origin
River & Ember Co is a seasonal offering for families, designed to gently support children’s emotional rhythm through story, ritual, and art. Co-created by a mother with a PhD in psychology and her daughter, it offers families a sacred pause in busy lives. I hope to offer families the same gifts my husband gave us: a sense of being held, and a reminder that even in life’s changing seasons, our inner light is worth tending.
